JSG is a Gallery+. We have a space, host exhibitions, and boast both a strong stable of artists and a loyal group of collectors. We do all of the things a traditional gallery does, but then we blow the doors off the traditional model. We take advantage of and leverage the world we live in now and cater to a new type of collector – a person who wants to experience art, not just view it. Through innovative programs, experiential exhibits, a strong online presence and a mission to build audiences for art and opportunities for photographers at the heart of it all – JSG is making a difference in the world of art.
Jennifer Schwartz is originally from Richmond, Virginia, and has her BA from Colgate University and her MA from Georgia State University. The owner of a successful commercial photography business for ten years, she opened her gallery in 2009 to give Atlanta’s thriving photography community a venue to showcase the work of emerging photographers.
Jennifer Schwartz co-founded the Roundtable Review program, and she regularly participates in portfolio reviews such as PhotoNOLA, PhotoLucida, Atlanta Celebrates Photography, FotoFest and others. She was invited as a curator to the Lishui Photo Festival in Lishui, China last November, and travels around the country giving talks, guest-lecturing at universities, leading workshops and hosting photographic retreats.
If you are a photographer with a strong body of work and are interested in showing at Jennifer Schwartz Gallery, please review our submission policy.
